Team Leader | Full-Time

The Vestas Offshore department is responsible for the maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our customer and direct a team of technicians
  • Oversee organizing, planning, and preparing all offshore activities and ensure smooth and safe operations in compliance to Vestas Health and Safety Management system
  • Complying to Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, and Vestas Health & Safety management system
  • Provide general support to the Manager and ensure smooth daily operation
  • Conduct safety walks and be a role model in safe working
  • Assist the implementation of new procedures/processes to the site
  • Ensure compliance to management system and instructions
Qualifications
  • Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • Experience as a team leader/supervisor
  • Professional experience (electrical and mechanical) and for instance offshore
  • High voltage knowledge or switching experience is preferred
  • Fluent English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Driving license category B

  • High level of safety awareness
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational & time management skills
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and training when required

The departure to our vessels is always from Ostend, Belgium.
