As a SHEQ Officer you support the head of the SHEQ department with the daily functions. You support the warehouse Facility & Operational departments on all matters related to Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and ESD issues i.e. SHEQ issues. You help to support the logistics business to ensure that a SHEQ culture is embedded within the facility. You make sure that the quality integrated management systems, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are developed and cascaded throughout the organization, implementing best practice in all departments.Your Key Accountabilities
  • produce and update SHEQ system documentation (work instruction, customer instructions, manufacturing info, …)
  • perform combined internal audits related to all management systems
  • map and amend processes
  • conduct investigations on customer complaints and create 8D-reports and 4-up charts
  • contribute to the monthly SHEQ meeting
  • support the team regarding SHEQ issues that need to be followed up with customers and/or suppliers
  • support the teams in Continues Improvement Projects (CIP)
  • follow-up action points coming out of internal audits, 8D-reports, …
  • support external certification-, customer- and supplier audits
  • first point of contact for the departments appointed to you as a SHEQ mentor
Profiel
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • You have followed the basic course prevention advisor (Level 3)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience within a similar Quality or SHEQ function
  • You have knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standard and a previous experience in internal audits
  • You are able to manage multiple issues, organize activities, prioritize, and escalate to management when appropriate.
  • You are accurate and have an eye for details
  • You have excellent computer skills (MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint)
  • You are fluent in both English & Dutch
  • Experience within a logistic or production environment would be an asset
  • You are able to think ‘outside the box’
  • You have a positive attitude, co-operative, willing to comply with company policies and procedures and work constructively with colleagues willing to commit to the Core Values
