Our client is active in the production and sales of an extensive range of furniture and building hardware in stainless steel.

They are part of a renowned German Group that aim to grow their business in Belgium & beyond.

In order to take up the local management of a recently acquired company (located in Sout-West-Flanders) – we are seeking


SITE MANAGER

(HANDS-ON & ANALYTICAL)


Functie

  • You are in control of the production, including quality management and supply chain management. (e.g. purchasing, material management, warehouse management, inventory management, shipping, …).
  • You are responsible for the complete production process, from order to invoice, from purchase to pay. Your team members will assist you !
  • You are responsible for all personnel. You build further a close team of highly qualified employees and stimulate collaboration between team members and teams to work as a well-functioning entity.
  • You are responsible for the machinery and equipment. In that regard you overlook investments and maintenance of the machinery and equipment.
  • You implement the business plan of the entity to ensure that the strategic goals are achieved.
  • You take up general commercial tasks and administrative duties.
  • You are in touch with the customers and know how to provide perfect service.
  • You will work closely together with your colleagues in Germany. They help you succeed with advice & assistance where needed!
  • You will work 40 hours per week, including 16 overtime hours per month.

Functie-eisen

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch. Professional knowledge of German is an advantage to communicate crystal clear with your German colleagues.
  • Proven work experience in similar position and industry for at least 5 years (metal fabrication).
  • You are an analytical thinker, always looking for a solution
  • Your excellent leadership qualities keep your team members motivated!
  • You are client centric.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity and inventory in a production or fabrication setting.
