We are currently looking for a “ SOC Manager ” to reinforce our team working on projects within the Domestic Market Business Unit in Louvain-la-Neuve/Brussels.

Your Mission:

  • Lead and manage the SOC Team, ensuring the support and the successful deployment of our managed security services for our contracted clients, in an industrialised approach, at technical and procedure level ;
  • Sales experience around SOC is as crucial as technical proficiency. You’ll engage with clients, promoting our security solutions effectively.
  • You will bridge the gap between technology and client needs and you will be in charge of developping our SOC Activities.
  • Lead design and implementation of security changes and projects, align the technical design to the Client’s requirements according to best practices and industry standards ;
  • Manage and develop our Managed Security Service portfolio, with both Business and Financial sustainability view;
  • Ensure the implementation of security rules, standards and guidelines and execute follow-up of the service’s ISO27001 certification;
  • Define remediation plans and implement security mitigation actions in accordance with the Clients, provide reporting and traceable follow-up of these actions ;
  • Organize and improve collaboration with Sopra Steria Group SoC worldwide entities ;
  • Report team activity and financial results to the Agency director ;
  • Commitment as a Team Lead and Technical Expert ;
  • Be a subject matter expert concerning new threats and trends, security standards and evolutions.
Your Profile:

  • 5+ years Experienced Technical Security Professional, owning one or more security related certifications
  • Proficiently knowledgeable in technical security at network, systems and application levels
  • Experienced with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning, troubleshooting and correlation analysis, deploying security remediation plans
  • Able to testify of project experience in the implementation of security related solutions and technologies, enforcing security best practices and assessing security risks
  • Thorough knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  • You’re fluent in English, and at least one of Dutch or French.
