As Belgian QC expert on sampling and sample management, your role is to maintain and ensure the expertise on samples management from their picking to the delivery by ensuring establishment, deployment and maintenance of lean and harmonized processes across GSK Vaccines Belgium site.

Key responsibilities:
  • As QC expert, you manage questions related to sampling and samples management and regularly interact throughout the Belgian organization (QC labs, MPU’s,, ...)

  • You support the Belgian Local SME (Subject Matter Expert) involved in new projects (new products) for establishment of sampling strategies (together with MPU, product coordinator and responsible of raw material sampling strategies);

  • You are responsible for tasks in deviations and CAPA related to sampling and sample management

  • You are responsible, as QC expert, for reviewing local SOP related to sampling performed throughout the organization.

  • You are responsible for aligning sampling requirement across LSOP’s and ensure the applicability of these requirements through regular L1 Audits.

  • You participate to IT projects to increase samples traceability management

  • You lead training session to new SOP

  • You keep up-to-date on international guidelines related to sampling and, when required, is responsible for implementation

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

  • Master or equivalent gained through experience ( chemistry, biology, bioengineering or pharmacy )

  • Several years in bio/pharmaceutical industry with relevant experience in Quality

  • Knowledge in lean manufacturing and aseptic processes

  • Demonstrated good knowledge of GMP

  • Knowledge of Vaccine pharmaceutical regulation and sampling guidelines

  • Ability to work on transversal projects with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Team player

  • Effective communication skills, including presentation skills;

  • Strong quality and results oriented mindset

  • Fluent in French and good level of written and spoken English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Risk assessment and risk management skills;

  • Sense of urgency, flexibility and problem-solving skills

  • Maintain a high level of integrity while balancing multiple priorities and responsibilities.
