Location:Flexible between the following locations: Antwerp, Maastricht, Milan, Bilbao, Gothenburg, Sandbach

Positioning:This role reports to the Strategy Director who in turn reports to the EVP Strategy and Business Development

Role Purpose:

Develop market and mineral strategies and define related strategic initiatives to provide strategic direction and focus to the organisation. Ensure company initiatives are aligned to Sibelco’s strategies and facilitate the implementation and execution of these strategies through project (portfolio) management.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Define and update market and mineral strategies

• Challenge stakeholders on “where to play” and “how to win”

• Together with the Commercial & Operational VPs, prioritize and drive strategic initiatives and ensure company initiatives have a clear strategic fit

• Follow up on strategy implementation and strategic project portfolio pipeline

• Facilitate the implementation and execution of the strategies through performing a strategic project manager role for selected organic CapEx projects

• Roll out project management best practices and processes and coach/support other strategic project managers and project teams in optimally performing their roles

About you:

• Fluent in written and spoken English - one or more additional european languages higly regarded

• Approx. 5 years’ experience in project management and/or strategy development and/or strategic marketing in an international business environments

• Understanding of key P&L metrics and financial KPIs

• Technically savvy with strong analytical skills

• Capabilities to bring structure in complex, high quantity, unorganised and contradictory information

• Strong project management skills, excellent planning, organisation and prioritization skills
