We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead our CI/CD Department. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers who are responsible for developing and maintaining Telenet’s CI/CD pipelines, toolchains, and processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that our software development and release processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to align the CI/CD strategy with business goals.
Your tasks as a Team Manager CI/CD
- Lead and manage a team of CI/CD engineers responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimizing Telenet’s CI/CD pipelines and toolchains.
- Develop and implement the CI/CD strategy and roadmap for Telenet, in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the CI/CD process is efficient and effective, and to ensure that the software development process is integrated with the release process.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the CI/CD pipelines and processes, working closely with the security and compliance teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the CI/CD pipelines and processes.
- Establish and track KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the CI/CD process.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including other departments, customers, and vendors.
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members as needed.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams of software engineers or developers.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and best practices, with experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and toolchains.
- Strong technical skills and experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a large telco or telecoms environment would be an advantage.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, French would be an asset.
