Job Purpose:
  • Lead the coordination and consolidation of all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Perform Analytical reviews and challenge the business on forecasts and plans submitted
  • Perform quarterly ABC analysis and review the results with the business with the purpose to define profit improvement plans.
  • Support the business and provide insights to the financial decision making process in the organization through analysis, financial projections, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasting process coordination to ensure adherence to timelines and quality.
  • Consolidation and submission of completed forecasts for the total business including detailed analytical review
  • Production of summary schedules and KPIs for use in the business
  • Preparation of board presentation packs to accompany the forecasts
  • Consolidation and input to the internal weekly forecast and the formal fortnightly quarterly outlook for Group
  • Management of monthly ABC reporting on customer and vendor profitability for internal and Group use
  • Preparation of model P&Ls for key strategic planning
  • Ensure proper use of data to support executive decision making process
  • Track execution against committed impacts and milestones
  • Other duties as required from time to time

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
  • Timely delivery of quarterly forecast process and all internal reporting
  • Accurate forecasts and detailed understanding of the consolidated figures
  • Proactive working relationships with all departments involved to ensure coordinated approach to forecast processes
  • An ability to stimulate others to change and absorb new ideas
  • Strength in dealing with peer groups and senior executives
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
  • Ability to initiate projects and set timelines and expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
  • Previous Finance department experience in medium/large business
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Knowledge of SAP
