About the Technical Young Graduate Program

By this 2 year program we prepare starting engineers for a clearly predefined management position in a technical field at our Precious Metals Refining plant in Hoboken. As Technical Young Graduate you will be coached during a specifically designed development program spread over different units and locations. You will be able to quickly contribute to our business.
During these two years you will get a specific training curriculum to strengthen your managerial skills and to broaden your self-knowledge. The combination of the trainings and the experiences during your projects are highly appreciated and well observed by our Management Teams.
You will benefit from a custom-made development plan and get support from the young talent and onboarding manager during the entire program. And off course we’ll connect you with the community of former Young Graduates.




How you will create your impact

After your TYG program you will become part of the management team of the Base Metals Operations or the Precious Metals Operations and assist and support the operational manager in order to deliver excellent key performance indicators. You assure and increase the metallurgical and chemical knowledge of the process, based on process data and chemical analysis. You analyze quality related parameters and see how we can implement them without reduction in throughput, and make proposals to improve process robustness. You look at bottlenecks, make proposals to solve them and help the team during start-ups and small shut downs.




Who we are looking for
  • You have obtained a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or in Material Science with a keen interest in chemical processing, developing technological skills and a solid scientific approach
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch
  • You are a team player, respectful, committed to values & people
  • You are a problem solver, committed to results, natural communicator, creative, with a hands-on mentality and willing to challenge the status-quo
