Location: Waterloo, Belgium

Contract: 12 months

Daily Rate: €950

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

We are currently looking for a skilled Technology Risk Management Professional for our client in the financial services industry. This role involves implementing local technology risk management processes while leveraging global standards.

In this role you will develop and manage risk processes to minimize exposure and ensure proper controls, support governance committees, and provide data analysis and strategy execution across various risk areas. You will support cross-functional initiatives, deliver presentations, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will ensure due diligence and control validation within risk management.

Key Skills:

  • Strong IT risk management experience
  • Proven ability to collaborate and establish networks across teams
  • Effective communication and reporting to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Degree in law, finance, business management, or IT-related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT, banking, payment, or FinTech sectors in similar roles (Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance)
  • Knowledge of Risk and Control Framework standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to technology and cybersecurity, particularly in the payments sector
  • Strong IT technical knowledge, including emerging technologies
