Responsibilities:

  • Assist the C.C.O. in the day-to-day management of the delivery centre
  • Manage a large fleet of trucks and vans
  • Supervise the daily departure of our delivery rounds with the help of dispatchers and warehousemen
  • Plan the number of vehicles needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Responsible for hiring and maintaining new subcontractors
  • Check the conformity of vehicles and administrative documents
  • Provide theoretical training for new drivers and carry out their annual appraisals
  • In collaboration with the responsible team, you will also monitor all GDP (Good Distribution Practices) procedures
  • Responsible for the daily follow-up of the various operational reports and act as the link between our customer service department and drivers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport & Logistics or with equivalent training.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the road transport sector and various administrative regulations regarding to the sector.
  • Comfortable in human management.
  • Proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, Word, etc) and IT Logistics tools.
  • Flexible and resilience to stress
  • French, dutch (flemish) and english
