Job Title: UI/UX Service Senior

Job Overview

The UX Researcher Service will spearhead user research initiatives to uncover user needs and inform the design of user-centric solutions. The ultimate deliverable of this role is a high-fidelity interactive prototype, designed in collaboration with a UI designer based on the UX researcher’s concepts or wireframes. This prototype will be user-tested and refined to ensure optimal usability and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX Research: Conduct comprehensive UX research and document findings in our Research repository.
• Workshop Facilitation: Organize and lead workshops focusing on functional framing, ideation, and co-design with key stakeholders, including business, IT, and end-users. Facilitate user tests and focus groups as needed.
• User Insight Collection: Implement a variety of research methods such as on-site observations, interviews, user tests, surveys, and literature reviews to gather insights on user needs and pain points.
• Persona and Experience Mapping: Develop personas and experience maps based on user research and data.
• Interaction Model Definition: Design interaction models and evaluate their success through measurable criteria.
• User Journey Analysis: Identify and document business processes and use cases, define user journeys, and suggest improvements to existing journeys.
• Design Communication: Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present design ideas, concepts, and solutions to various stakeholders.
• Collaboration with UI Designers and Developers: Communicate design ideas and prototypes to UI designers and developers.
• Team Contribution: Actively participate in broader UX chapter activities, including feedback sharing sessions and knowledge exchanges.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• 7 years in design thinking within agile project contexts.
• 7 years in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• 3 years in interaction design and information architecture.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in creating low-fidelity wireframes and user flows using Figma.
• High attention to detail and delivery standards.
• Proficiency in design software (Figma) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Miro).
• Familiarity with using a design system in Figma (a plus).
• Experience with the research tool Condens (a big plus).
• Education: A formal qualification in UX (Master’s degree, certification, etc.) is required.

• Documentation and Writing Skills: Proficient in writing processes, documentation, and presentations.
• Passion for IT: Demonstrates a genuine passion for information technologies.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (mandatory for user interaction and conducting interviews). Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
