About Splynter

We want to holistically improve the cyber security posture of companies around the globe through a vendor-independent and risk-based approach, combining high-quality security architecture with in-depth technical cyber security expertise.

Working as a Cyber Security Architect at Splynter

Since our mission is to structurally improve cyber security in every company, you will be given a chance to have an extensive range of tasks whereby every action aims to improve the cyber security capability of our customers.

As a young graduate at Splynter, you will develop our clients’ cyber security architecture and present them with recommendations about missing cyber security controls. This task requires a combination of good communication skills, abstract thinking, and pragmatic application of cyber security theory. You are also following up on the implementation of these security controls in an end-to-end manner. In addition, you are a real gatekeeper since you assure the proper follow-up. In doing so, you will work accurately and perform tests on the developed security structures.

As another part of your job, you will also be responsible for raising cyber security awareness both within Splynter and its clients through presentations, gamification or other techniques. As a result, you are also aware of the latest evolutions in the cyber security landscape. This is because you are co-responsible for building and maintaining knowledge with yourself and your colleagues in several cyber security domains of choice. In collaboration with your colleagues, you regularly develop courses and training that you give in-house to customers and partners and are also made available online on an e-learning platform, The Master Channel.

These skills will help you land this job

• You are verbally strong.
• You have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering or another IT-related field.
• You should be fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
• Abstract thinking, as well as technical assignments, are no problem for you. You can easily switch between the two.
