Our client, a leading Software, Information, and Communication Technologies company, with offices around the globe, is looking for a ITSM Security Architectto join their innovative team in Brussels, Belgium.They are a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, and multinational companies, research, and academic institutes.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:

  • University degree in IT or a related field and minimum 13 years of experience in IT analysis;

  • Familiarity with IT projects, preferably in the field of excise, customs and taxation business or accounting;

  • Fluent in English.

  • Proven experience in the areas of BCP/DRP;

  • Experience with IT security audits;

  • Ability to review technical and security documents; experience with security assessment of information systems;

  • Experience with security methodologies, risk management & audits;

  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols;

  • Experience with cryptography, network security, identity and access management (IAM), key management systems, tools and products for security assessments and audits;

  • Experience with security tools for operations;

  • Knowledge of client’s legislation and policies on Infosec/IT security and risk management, including GDPR;

  • Ability to work autonomously is mandatory;

  • CISM, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CGEIT or similar certifications will be considered as an asset;

  • Experience with software development is an asset;

  • Additional desirable assets: experience in implementation and enforcement of Service Level Agreements (SLA), experience as a technical writer;

  • Experience in international/multicultural environment and public administration are assets;

Responsibilities:

  • Propose security systems, security components and/or services architecture (e.g. SOA, ESB, MDM, legacy, framework, security), COTS software products, standards and/or evaluate technical offers from contractors, ensuring the clients’ security requirements (based on ISO2700x) are followed;

  • Make proposals for architecture governance and/or evaluate technical offers from contractors;

  • Investigate and recommend security solutions (including cost benefit analyses, assessment of implementation’s duration), and/or evaluate technical solutions proposed;

  • Understand, apply and suggest improvements of methodologies (e.g. TEMPO, RUP@EC, CoRA), security policies, tools, best practices, etc.;

  • Support projects by designing security services and components (or supervising contractors’ design), encouraging re-use as well as committing that the design of the system will fulfil the system’s requirements, in particular non-functional requirements (volume, scalability, confidentiality, integrity, availability, business continuity and disaster recovery planning);

  • Ensure that the systems’, components’ and/or services’ design is consistent with the client’s architecture (e.g. consistency with the client’s framework);

  • Analyze the integration of different information systems and ensure their interoperability;

  • Provide advice and consultancy;

  • Participate in brainstorming, meetings and workshops with clients, contractors, MS and/or other partners;

  • Follow up technology and services evolution in the relevant areas;

  • Structure the information in ways that are appropriate to the target audience;

  • Produce, review and evaluate technical documents. It includes reviewing technical offers from contractors;

  • Study (or supervise the study of) adequacy and impact of new technology or new versions of COTS/OSS on client systems;

  • Report to the designated client official(s).
