Job Description

As part of its international growth strategy, SSENSE is now managing its EU supply chain through an office in Brussels and a Third Party Logistics provider in the Region of Flanders, Belgium. We’re looking for a 3PL Coordinator who will be based in Tessenderlo (province of Limburg) and responsible for coordinating warehousing operations between the 3PL and SSENSE’s Inbound Logistics and Customer Experience teams. Reporting to the Director, Fulfillment, He/She will liaise with our 3PL partner, carriers and internal departments to ensure shipments are processed within the required timeframes. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and adept at developing and maintaining successful relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.

The expectation is to be on-site at our warehouse at a minimum 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

100% - OPERATIONS
  • Coordinate all Inbound and Outbound order flow, and that the transactions are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate inbound shipment prioritization between the 3PL and the inbound logistics team based on business needs
  • Troubleshoot B2B inbound and outbound as well as B2C discrepancies
  • Work with internal SSENSE buying, logistics and CX teams to ensure exceptions are handled within defined SOPs
  • Generate reports and share regular updates with the central logistics team
  • Open and manage shipment claims with logistics partners
  • Liaise with the brokerage department to resolve any customs issues
  • Participate in defining and implementing new logistics processes and metrics within the company for the continuous improvement of the 3PL operations
  • Proactively suggest continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
  • Comfortable in navigating systems such as PO, WMS, ASN etc.
  • Experience working in an e-commerce, fashion and/or retail environments, an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch (French an asset)
