We are currently looking for talented and enthusiastic people with the passion to support our vision and help to change the future of aviation. We are now recruiting for a Business Analysts/ Power BI Developer to join our team in Malaysia.

The business analyst will be responsible for the analytics front end applications within the business applications team. As analyst, you will work with theBusiness Process Owners to analyze the reporting needs and translate these into a PowerBI visual & analytical solution. You will be responsible for building the overall analytics front-end applications for the group. Through iterative steps, you will work with the Business Process Owners and departments to set scope and priorities. The analytics area covers a large business scope including Finance, Production, Sales, HR, Marketing, Warehousing, Procurement etc. We opted to go for a cloud first strategy and have created a foundation with an state of the art Microsoft Azure environment (datalakes, databricks, powerbi, etc).

Main Responsibilities
  • Solution Design Analytics
    • Gather and define the business requirements
    • Design the solution in line with the business requirements
    • Build the solution according the overall agreed processes and guidelines
    • Collaborate with the business stakeholders and business process owners
    • Track and steer project progress on agreed deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
  • Application Management
    • Organize the solution support according to agreed priorities
    • Set scope and priorities in line with overall applications road-map
    • Organize the continuous improvement of the solutions in your area
    • Keep track of new improvement opportunities in your area of responsibility and evaluate these together with your business contacts
    • Plan the releases of your solutions
    • Ensure validation and testing of all changes
    • Lead and collaborate with external parties
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Completed University Degree
  • 3-6 years of professional experience within the area of analytics and data science
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing DWH applications is a plus
  • A combined set of strong conceptual design and abstract thinking skills, business acumen, problem-solving mindset, advanced vision, and attention for detail
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP system in a (complex) multi-country, multi-BU environment is considered as a plus
  • Strong motivation to challenge the status quo and ability to navigate between hands-on analysis
  • Problem solving ability to execute and coordinate projects
  • Strong English communication skills – written and oral is required
