To strengthen our GSCP team in Tongeren, we are looking for an Experienced Business Planning Analyst

Role:

The Global Supply Chain Planning (GSCP) team is seeking an experienced Business Planning Analyst to support our National Accounts for Europe and will be based in Tongeren – Belgium. The candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to deliver data driven insights and recommendations.

The Business Planning Analyst’s primary goal is to drive a timely, accurate and complete forecast to enable the Sales Channel to achieve its sales targets while seeking to improve forecast accuracy. The Business Planning Analyst needs to leverage his/her analytical and forecasting skills, and partner closely with the Sales leadership, Marketing and Operations teams, Finance and Global Supply Chain to ensure that all activities impacting sales are included in the forecast. Additional responsibilities include supporting the development of new product volumes and launch plans and providing Sales with insightful sales analysis to help explain business results, identify risks and opportunities and measure key performance indicators.

The above requires the ideal candidate to develop a strong business acumen, build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and deliver analytical excellence to optimize business results. The Business Planning Analyst must be able to work with multiple data and information sources, be well organized and adaptable to changes in business demand.

Responsibilities:

Review and update core product forecasts for assigned Sales Group(s)

Provide regular analysis to facilitate business leaders in identifying risks and opportunities to make informed decisions

Review prior month forecast accuracy with business partners and explain deviations

Create forecasts for new products and prepare detailed launch plans

Develop promotional forecasts

Education and Experience:

Bachelor / Master in Business, Finance, Economics or Operations

5-7 years of experience

Key Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication

Analytical: Needs strong analytical skill set to work using different sources of information

Strong personality: Able to listen, influence and negotiate with primary business stakeholders

Self-motivated, self-starter and ability to work independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Solid Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

Sales & Operation Process / Supply Value Chain

Kinaxis/RapidResponse

SAP

Forecasting
