Job Description

The Category & E-commerce Manager will have the following responsabilities :

In collaboration with the Head of Sales Strategy and Planning and in accordance with the Sales and Marketing policy of the company and the objectives of the Sales Director:

  • Be responsible for supporting the Sales team in the implementation of agreed Commercial strategies
  • Collaborates closely and efficiently with the KAM becoming a winning duo
  • Provides his expertise about market tendencies during customer’s meeting, aims to grow category at customers and works on the optimal commercial strategy at his customers (in store execution, visibility, assortment mix, etc.)
  • Key player in demand review while proactively providing detailed understanding of Vol/Net sales promo and anticipation of risks and opportunities
  • You will be responsible for the development of in-store materials and work closely with the brand manager (marketing) for optimal development at your clients


E-commerce

  • Excellent execution of ecommerce basics at our customers (product descriptions, mobile optimized, etc)
  • Make the best use of the company’s tools to gather insights (e-commerce activation plan, keywords performance, digital shelve advice, etc) and translate this into a concrete action plan to make our brands grow
  • Be the belgian point of contact for global expansion and get the opportunity to connect with digital teams across Europe

The Successful Applicant

  • Master’s degree in business management, marketing or communication
  • 3 years experiences in Sales development and/or Marketing preferably in FMCG
  • Good knowledge of MS Office / Nielsen
  • Comfortable within international organizations
  • Landscape understanding (knowledge of FMCG market)
  • An analytical, deductive, passionate about sales, communicative and proactive attitude
  • Fluent French and Dutch, English is an asset
