A well-known and dynamic player in retail with international orientation is looking for an analytical Chief Accountant to round out their accounting team in Turnhout.

As Chief Accountant, you will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Preparing tax returns
  • Management of fixed assets
  • Preparation of monthly internal reports and year-end closing.
  • Tax and statutory returns such as annual customer listing, intrastat and VAT returns
  • Managing the finance team

The Ideal Profile For The Chief Accountant Position

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economic/financial field
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting
  • An excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • A structured and accurate worker with an organizational talent
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
