PwC’s Sustainable Business Solutions team and ESG practice guides organisations in responding to global sustainability megatrends and building long-term resilience. We help clients develop strategies, meet stakeholder expectations and measure sustainability impact based on robust and reliable data.

Want to make a difference by helping companies work sustainably? We’re looking for a dynamic and strong climate change expert to help build and lead our climate change practice in Belgium and support experts across Europe.
What you’ll learn and do
  • Join our team on a wide range of advisory and assurance projects
  • Play a key role in the development of the climate change practice of PwC Belgium and become the go to climate expert in Belgium
  • Establish a climate change expert team and further develop our climate change service offerings
  • Support our clients in the execution of their climate change strategy
  • Identify the impact of key environmental, social and economic issues
  • Develop and support in climate change upskilling (training, research and team building) and contribute to thought leadership
  • Engage and collaborate with our PwC sustainability experts throughout Europe and beyond
Who you are
  • Assisting clients on gaining insights and strategies on climate change (incl. risks & opportunities), decarbonisation, (climate) impact measurement and sustainability management overall
  • Prior consulting experience is highly desirable
  • As part of your several years of professional experience you could already work with climate scenarios and / or get deep insights into the impact of climate change on business strategy and operations, including the optimization of energy efficiency
  • You have deep expertise in and knowledge in carbon accounting, EU ETS, SBTi, TCFD and other relevant frameworks
  • Understanding of the climate change policy and regulatory landscape and ability to link it with wider ESG reporting and disclosure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • In addition to analytical skills and affinity with numbers, team orientation and pronounced communication skills in English round off your distinctive leadership personality
