Job DescriptionStrategic workforce planning is one of the most key initiatives Telenet identified to achieve our objectives within an increasingly competitive market. In a world that is changing rapidly, the SWI COE lead makes sure Telenet employs people with the right skills at the right time.
We want to become staying ahead in analyzing our workforce and determine the steps we must take to meet current and future staffing needs. A comprehensive workforce plan is at the heart of our People Strategy.
The CoE Lead’s Accountabilities
- Create a sustainable workforce framework – Right skills in the right time
- You will seek to understand the labor market and strategic company needs: which skills will become important and rare? Which Skills become irrelevant in the future? Based on this, you develop actionable strategies by leveraging channels and tools, demand forecast and people metrics.
- Analyze workforce - analyze the current workforce and ensure that both the quantity and quality of the workforce are assessed
- Identify skills gaps - Conduct a skills gap analysis and provide valuable future workforce data.
- Develop an action plan - Align with multiple stakeholders on a capacity plan that includes different types of labour and to continuously improve forecasting. Build Workforce Intelligence framework that will allow us to adapt to business demand; including strategies for recruiting, reskilling and retaining talent, restructuring the organization and optimize the People eco-system.
- Implement the action plan – implement workforce intelligence (guidelines, processes, tools and technology enablers)
- Monitor the cost for the future proof workforce – Right people and the right cost
- Understand the direct and indirect costs evolution of the future workforce
- Develop strategies to optimize costs related to talent through great stakeholders management with senior leadership.
- Bring HR data intelligence to the business
- Act as an expert for the development of HR data models and identifies the needs and demands of the organization
- Decide on the relevant sets of HR data and reports
- Orchestra the development and roadmap of relevant reports and dashboards
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the People team on all Mergers and Acquisitions
- Serve as the people liaison to various stakeholders with respect to all M&A activities.
- Act as team lead for end-to-end people related topics from due diligence through integration.
- Create and document scalable M&A practices and playbooks
- Research, recommend and implement solutions help us overcome the challenges associated with M&A projects.
- Higher education level, Master preferred
- Seasoned business professional, proven experience on strategic level
- HR experience in its broadest sense (incl. talent planning)
- Highly skilled in data management and convinced about the power of data.
- Experience in a technology environment is a decisive plus
- Analytical & conceptual thinker
- Collaborative with a variety of people from differenet disciplines
- Program management talent
You will be part of the People Tribe (people strategy team) in which you will find your intellectual sparring partners, although they will also be found in other departments you’ll work closely with:the finance department, COE Agile, data analytics team, our learning team and our chapter leads.
