Board of Innovation is an independently owned business design and innovation strategy firm. We have a hybrid work policy that allows us to attract the best talent. Our hubs are located in Antwerp, Amsterdam, New York, and Singapore but our talent is globally distributed. This diversity allows our business designers to uniquely help the world’s largest organizations navigate fundamental shifts. And we do this by developing growth strategies, innovation capabilities, and new businesses with many of the world’s largest organizations (have a look at our cases here).Over the last 4 years we’ve experienced rapid growth across our global offices. Our Growth team, which you will be part of, is a newly formed global team on a mission to support the rapid global scaling of our business.
About the team & culture:
Our Growth Team is a newly formed global team that is on a mission to support the rapid global scaling of our business. In the role of Content Marketeer, you will be a central part of growing our brand presence and knowledge leadership across the world, by creating fresh innovation-related content. You will own the content funnel, and ensure that we stay on top of innovation topics and trends, dive into the core of our international projects, seek captivating stories about work and life at Board of Innovation, and turn all of that into BOI-branded eye-catching copy.
You will report to Signe, our marketing manager, and will work closely with our international team of consultants to explore and hunt the best innovation stories. This role is a 6 months contract, with the possibility of becoming a full time position.

We don’t believe in forcing someone into a specific job function. Your role will be shaped based on your own interest and experience, as well as those of your team members; and even more importantly, everyone’s role is expected to evolve continuously. Consider the below in order of priority as a starting point.
You own the content funnel and ensure timely creation of content
- You actively pursue new pieces of content, that are in line with our global content strategy
- You follow-up with different owners of content pieces in our content pipeline to ensure timely publication
- You will work closely with consultants, dive into the core of our international projects, seek captivating stories about work and life at Board of Innovation, and turn all of that into BOI-branded eye-catching copy.
- You will write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy for a variety of content assets for the team - including case studies, blog posts, interviews, newsletters, playbooks, and content for events
- You will support our consultants in the copywriting of major publications and guides. Check out our latest work here
- You will develop copy for specific audiences, and aligning to strategic goals
- You develop SEO optimized copy for specific keywords
- You continuously pursue and conduct keyword research and create copy based on those
- You optimize and update existing content pieces with best practices around SEO, to help power our inbound traffic
- Exceptional writing and research skill
- Relevant experience in the domain of copywriting, researching and content creation with solid portfolio of work
- Words are just about your favorite thing. You have outstanding English written communication skills
- Experience copywriting and supporting with longform content and reports
- You are curious, inquisitive and critical
- Passionate about innovation, and understanding our activities and industry
- Able to work with a limited outline or very early stage draft version of a new story, and committed to deadlines
- Ability to transform complex information and concepts into easily understood copy
- Fast learner to level up your knowledge of the most relevant topics
- Strong experience with SEO, keyword research, and developing a sound SEO strategy
