You are well-versed in the facility management best practices and latest industry trends, and you consistently seek out opportunities to enhance facility operations through innovation and continuous improvement, always with a sustainable mindset.

Your responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances overall operational efficiency, in line with Ingka’s rules, policies and ways of working.
  • Lead, mentor, inspire and manage a team of facility management professionals (approx. 10 Unit FM Managers), fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Lead and manage the execution of Facility Management within the country through the Unit FM Managers
  • Oversee the FM scope (hard & soft services) in all IKEA units, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, functional, compliant and aesthetically appealing.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved productivity.
  • Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support relocations, expansions, and renovations.
  • Ensure that co-workers and external partners has up-to-date awareness and understanding of all FM frameworks, guidelines and initiatives.
  • Support and implement the structure for contract and supplier management together with the Ingka purchasing organization.
