As a Customer Configuration Specialist, you will assist our customers in becoming successful with our product. Since their success, is our success! You will be part of our launch services team within the Customer Success division, which is an extremely close and international team keen on sharing knowledge and striving to improve each day to deliver the best customer experience! You will be responsible for setting up the newly signed B2B customer operating in the Hospitality Industry. During intake meetings with the customer you’ll make sure to understand their needs and workflows and after that you’ll get to work on setting up the menu, the floorplan and connecting the hardware. Where necessary you’ll make sure that the B2B customers are trained on the day-to-day operations to get started with the software. Your day-to-day will consist of both facilitating the configuration of the point of sale back office and conducting intake and handover sessions with the customer. In order to succeed, you will need to have experience with high level customer service, some Hospitality experience, and can adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high energy environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and configuring customer menus
  • Creating floor plans, configuring the the BackOffice and connecting hardware
  • Leading Intake and Handover meetings with the customer (mostly via video communication)
  • Providing additional training to the customer where necessary
  • Following up on customers to support them and help solving technical issues and workflows
  • Working closely together with the Onboarding Coordinators, Sales team and the Support team to deliver the best customer experience
  • Working closely with the Product Specialist team and other Configuration specialists to improve processes
  • Maintaining and updating customer records in our CRM and other online tools
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through each stage of the post-sales relationship, including onboarding, follow-ups, and hand-off to support

What you need to bring:

  • Working experience in customer-facing activities in Hospitality or B2B environment
  • Excellent communications skills in French (written & verbal), as well as fluent English
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and teach tech concepts
  • Passion for technology
  • Excellent command of Office pack (Excel, PowerPoint)

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience in the Hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in a technical role (software, IT, tech support)
  • Experience in training, teaching, onboarding or facilitating orientation sessions

  • You have strong time management abilities and know how to prioritize tasks
  • You need to be able to quickly assess the needs of the customer and translate this in the POS software.
  • You are curious by nature, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo and explore innovative ways of doing what you do best

  • You are autonomous, but know how to work in a team
  • Most importantly, you know how to have fun while staying focused on your goals!
