The mission:

Under the supervision of our Communications Specialist, the Digital Communication Officer is expected to conceive and design communication materials as well as manage and monitor online communication channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and designing communication materials, including brochures, presentations and publications.
  • Implementing and safeguarding the EDFI’s visual identity.
  • Managing and monitoring digital communications channels, including website, newsletters, social media.
  • Designing online campaigns and evaluating their impact, advising on digital communication.
  • Supporting events.
  • Coordinating with digital communications service providers.

The EDFI Association and EDFI MC are looking for a Digital Communications Officer with strong IT and design skills, who is visually minded, enjoys working on technical tasks and is confident in using a variety of digital platforms.:

  • University degree in communication with strong emphasis on the technical components used in multi-media communication.
  • Interested in development finance the functioning of European institutions.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in digital communication, preferably in Comms/PA agency.
  • Proven experience in creating high-quality communication materials in print and online.
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to produce visual elements and promotion materials; video editing skills is a plus.
  • Service-minded, can-do attitude and able to work within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Analytical, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Results-oriented with excellent personal organisation and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in teams and relate to stakeholders.
