As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Interface Documents (IDOC) monitoring activities associated with inventory receipts and outbound shipment confirmations between the warehouse management system utilized by the Local Operating Company (LOC) and the SAP software system within GSK.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Accountable for Logistics Service Providers operational performance

• Manage deviation management process for all incidents identified
• Control the cost and the invoice of the LSP for the shipment organized in the assigned area
• Monitor the performance of the Logistic Service Providers in collaboration with Transversal Team
• Define new routes complying with Distribution Risk Assessment and all Quality/Cold chain requirements/procedures
  
  

Build and improve processes to meet customer satisfaction and optimize cash-flow and respect/reduce Distribution Budget.

Ensure on-time communication of dashboard, KPIs and supply risks.

Team management

• Lead a team of +/- 6 employees in charge of the shipping and billing process,
• Responsible for the capacity management of the team (coordinate daily activities/workload-back-up plan for vacation)
• Ensure processes are in place and are well followed (TIER, SOP, WKI, Deviation Management, CAPA, , myCSA, Sarbox, trade compliance, customs, …)
• Supporting the team when an escalation is needed.
• Giving the team a clear list a priorities in alignment with the business needs.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Associate degree in Logistics/Transport, Economics or supply chain Management
• Min 2 years of experience in international Logistics/ Transport Environment or Supply Chain Management Environment
• Experience with performance monitoring in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Master Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Strong customer focus
• Sense of urgency, flexibility and accountability
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Capability to communicate with production and to customers
• Good Influencing skills to ensure production, release and logistics are focused on customer priorities
• Intensive Internal & external stakeholder management (QA release, Customer service, all GSK Vaccines site, Logistic supplier, Authorities, Loc, Global Manufacturing Sites supply HUB, Commercial, Finance,….)
• Team management skills and strong personal resilience
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with different departments and countries, multi-cultural awareness is an asset.
• Process improvement mindset
• Good understanding of SAP (R/3 & APO), GDP and QMS
• APICS or Executive Master in Supply Chain is an asset
