Today, our Company’s mission statement "Advancing the world of health" is more relevant than ever. BD is playing a critical role in fighting the global pandemic in 3D: Delivery (Syringes for vaccination), Diagnostics (Self tests, PCR tests) and Discovery (lab equipment helping our scientists beating the virus).

The EDC in Temse is playing a key role in carrying out BD’s mission statement as we are the company’s main hub for distributing medical equipment to customers all over Europe, Africa and Middle East.

As an EDC Transport Outbound Planner you play a critical role in fulfilling the EDC quality policy: “The European Distribution Center will consistently satisfy customer needs by delivering the right product, in good condition, on time, with the right documentation at the optimum cost.

Your Responsibilities:

Operational Planning

  • Ensure accurate and timely planning of all incoming orders according to existing service level agreements.
  • Plan transport in the most optimized way (Cost, Service).
  • Ensure strict follow-up of operational process, taking into account priority setting on transport availability.

Service Advisor

  • Interact with customer services on order status and transportation planning related problems..

Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s and/or experience in Supply Chain (preferably forwarding).
  • You are assertive, analytical, and flexible.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You have a customer-focused mindset.
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Application (Excel, Outlook).
  • A first experience with AS400 / SAP is considered a plus but not a requirement.
  • You are keen to learn and you are motivated!
  • You are proficient in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
