Job Purpose
The main purpose of the EHS & HSR Champion (IME) is to insure a EHS approach for the day to day activities of the MPU PWI. Analyze the EHS & HSR performance of the “MPU PWI” i.e. Manufacturing Performance Unit Packaging, Warehouse and Incoming Materials equipment (packaging lines and warehouse facilities) in terms of risk assessments, EHS point of contact and HSR projects (Fire – ATEX – Contractor management – Electrical safety – Process safety). Working closely with the execution team and the Managers of several disciplines. The EHS & HSR Champion develops, implements and manages an active EHS approach, inspections and revises plans. In addition, it provides EHS & HSR supports to ensure the EHS-effective solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Define & implement Visual Management regarding EHS on shop floors.
- Manage & ensure the achievements regarding HSR projects of the MPU with a project management approach
- Develop and maintain the right KPI regarding EHS & HSR
- Is in charge with the EHS manager of the weekly CRB EHS and the follow-up of the associated action plan for TS PWI
- Insure EHS Gemba in order to on the shopfloor to recognize and reward good EHS behavior, correct unsafe condition and sanction EHS breaches. Daily decisions are made without compromising on safety and the necessary resources are allocated.
- Ensure all risk assessments are performed. You are involved in these risk assessments together with the risk assessor and supported by relevant stakeholders. You understand and ensure the operational implementation of these risk assessments. You check that staff’s trainings are up-to-date. You verify that risk profile is up-to-date, and employees have necessary skills and medical aptitude. You ensure coactivity is identified during activities preparation and planning
- Ensure preparation and execution of Lock-Out/Tag-Out and PTW activities are strictly applied. You ensure and check PTW signatures are carried out on the shopfloor
- Follow strictly the 3 green lights process for all new equipment. You organize, plan and control the execution of preventive, corrective activities and legal inspection of your equipment throughout their lifetime. In case of non-compliance, you are responsible for escalation. You monitor that equipment and tools (including PPE) used by employees are safe, conform and fit for purpose
- Ensure coordination of subcontractors. All risks are anticipated and assessed before execution through preparation meetings. You ensure all risks are controlled throughout the duration of intervention by sufficient monitoring. EHS performance of subcontractors must be reviewed during and after the work.
- Plan and prioritize team work to ensure that incident investigations to identify root cause are performed without delay. You implement corrective actions; You check corrective actions efficiency and you ensure CAPAs transversal sharing into your community of practice. Remediation is done with the necessary diligence
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- You have at least 2 years of proven experience in EHS risk assessments in an Industrial environment.
- You have a strong EHS Mindset.
- You have a background regarding LOTO or LOTOTO methodologies
- You are comfortable in Vaccines environment
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (must-have for the role)
