A vacancy has arisen for the post of Electrician for duties within the Company’s Support Services Department. Reporting to the Head Support Services, the successful candidate will be required to carry out electrical works on new installations and perform maintenance on existing installations found within the Company’s commercial and industrial facilities.

The main duties of this role include but are not limited to :

  • Basic fault finding and solving, as well as working on faults in order of priority.
  • Changing of fittings, electrical isolation, switchgears and all other related works involving electrical installations.
  • Providing recommendations for new installations.
  • Monitor Power Room, Generator, Solar Panels as well as any other Company equipment. Keep appropriate records for future reference.
  • Working on Vehicle Electrical charging Points.
  • Have good knowledge of both Plastic & Metal Electrical installations including trunking, piping, and use of cable trays as required according to the installation.
  • Any other duty as required.

Applicants Must As a Minimum

  • hold an Electrical Installation Licence ’Authorisation A & B;
  • be able to read and interpret technical drawings;
  • have sound knowledge of the current electrical standards;
  • have a clean disciplinary record;
  • be in possession of a clean car driving license and a clean police conduct certificate.
