Nature & Scope

The Electrolyser RAMS Engineer (Hydrogen-H2) will conduct and coordinate the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety Analysis of H2 products throughout their development and operation.

Main responsibilities

The Electrolyser RAMS Engineer will be responsible for:

• Lead and coordinate RAMS Analysis of H2 products throughout their development and operational lifecycle,
• Compile customer justification RAMS report,
• Develop a network of expertise within and outside of John Cockerill,
• Improve continuously the safety and availability of H2 products.

Profile

• Civil or Industrial Engineer background,
• Expertise in the implementation and writing of FMECA, RCM and other RAMS analyses,
• Knowledge of methods applied in SIL loops (process and E&I),
• Accustomed to participating in HAZOP and LOPA analyses (at best having conducted them),
• Knowledge of ATEX impacts,
• Familiar with the management of gas phase fluids, especially oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2),
• Petrochemical background, fuel gases (biogas, natural gas,…) desired,
• The assets for this function are:
• A first experience in engineering of large industrial installations,
• An experience in safety risk analysis,
• Experience in the industrial hydrogen sector,
• Experience in cyber security,
• Knowledge of high and low voltage electricity,
• Fluency in English and French,
• Autonomous profile, able to work from a blank page,
• Synthetic, structured, rigorous, organised management,
• Comfortable with contacts and teamwork,
• Leadership required.
