Global Vaccines Supply Chain Finance team is made of 6 people to cover Core Commercial Cycle, Inventory & Write off, Distribution costs for End-to-End Supply chain, Trade compliance and Transfer pricing activities; all of this for Global GSK Vaccines business.

Reporting to the finance director of Vaccines Supply Chain, the business analyst is responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data pertaining to supply chain activities carried out by GSK Pharma on the behalf of Vaccines (reported under what we call the “One P&L”), consulting financial partners and business stakeholders to provide appropriate context; identifying trends, advising and recommending actions based on sound analysis to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

On top of One P&L responsibilities, support brought as well to Supply Chain finance director and senior finance partner on financial planning and closing activities which do provide an End-to-end view on the business (E2E distribution cost per dose, headcount, operating expenses analysis,…). This person acts as well as back-up of intercompany transfer pricing

This function implies working with a high number of stakeholders being from Vaccines or Pharma business, Finance or non-Finance people, stakeholders with regional or local responsibilities; providing a large view on Global Vaccines Supply Chain business

These Responsibilities Include Some Of The Following

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

• Actual reporting activities : Consolidate financial monthly performance for entire One P&L for the different regions and provide them business insights/drivers that supports decision making of various stakeholders (Distribution costs, penalties, Write-offs of finished goods in the markets). This includes understanding of variances versus financial forecast, ensure data are reliable, identifying trends, recommending actions to management based on sound analysis. This includes as well education of the different stakeholder’s teams on financial concepts linked to Supply Chain Finance
• Budget preparation activities: Lead budget/reforecast process for entire One P&L by gathering information of Regional Customer services directors, Pharma Supply Chain, Regional Finance and leading budget review with regions
• Drive reporting efficiency and use the new technology on both One P&L and GVSC total cost base

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience as a controller within manufacturing industry. Experience within the pharmaceutical sector is an asset.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Strong communication skills to describe & challenge financial performance, present & defend position to leadership teams.
• Ability to work and influence in a matrix organization with varying levels of financial experience and multitude of stakeholder.
• Passion for partnering and team working with business and finance.
• University degree in accounting or finance (Accounting, Controlling, General Finance, Manufacturing accounting).
  

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Some knowledge of Supply Chain finance processes
• Good communication skills and ability to explain financial issues clearly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
