Job Description:

We’re an independent digital consultancy with big ambitions. With offices in Belgium, India and the UK, we support a wide range of businesses. We build digital teams and deliver digital solutions. We are hiring a Finance Architect with 6-8 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Be In line with business roadmaps and in close cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Define, design, update, document, adapt (and may lead, coordinate, monitor and control the development of) the architecture for IT solutions in the Core retail Domain
  • Contribute & follow the formulation of overall IT strategy in the domain
  • He/she will be primarily working with SAP & connected strategic Solutions in Core Retail while closely collaborating with the SI & COE in the company to understand what is currently existing and to have key decisions validated while reporting to the Retail Domain Architect/s
  • Understands the corporate strategy and business needs and lead the translation of this to a mid and long term (3-5 year) regional technology strategy in the Core retail domain, aligned with the regional EU and global IT strategy, to realize the defined objectives in an effective and efficient manner
  • Understands the mid to long term (6-24 months) departmental & company challenges, to contribute to the technology strategy of the client
  • Delivers high-level architectural design within in the specific domain/projects
  • Works with other members of the Architecture team as well as members of the delivery teams, at local/regional/global level if needed
  • Will be able to work within the SAFe framework (Agile WoW) or waterfall projects
  • Reference architecture: Leads/contributes to the reference architecture in own domain
  • Apply the architectural principles & policies to the security, privacy, & compliancy regimes
  • Suggest and provide solutions to business and management problems, and develop innovative solutions
  • Drive strategic plans towards concrete roadmaps and timely execution
  • Stays abreast of new technologies
  • Record, follow and evaluate key decisions with larger architecture group
  • Analyze potential impacts from decisions in existing landscape and the future directions
  • SAP Finance experience – expert in at least four of the areas below:
    • SAP Finance (S4H/ECC)
    • Universal Ledger (extensive experience needed)
    • Migration experience from ECC to S4H
    • General Ledger/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
    • Cash Management
    • Asset Accounting
    • Accruals Management
    • Rebate & Settlements Management
    • CO-PA / Margin Analysis

Job Summary:

  • Min. 8-10+ years of relevant IT experience
  • Experience in the retail industry is a must
  • Experience of complex IT landscapes and large organizations
  • Proven experience as SAP Finance Architect
  • Experience with Retail and HR will be considered a plus
  • Experience in understanding & Solutioning end to end processes in Retail
  • Expertise in process management and business systems requirements definition
  • Experience with S4H Retail concepts in depth across areas is a must
  • Good understanding on integration patterns
  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools, SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI)
  • Job Duration is 14 months
