What will you do?

• Financial Management:
• Take the reins: Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Keep it on point: Ensure timely and accurate prep of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP/IFRS.
• Smooth sailing: Manage a seamless consolidation process, delivering top-tier consolidated financial statements quarterly.
• Plan and conquer: Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts, offering insights for strategic financial planning.
• Internal Controls and Compliance:
• Fortify the fortress: Establish and monitor effective internal controls.
• Stay on the right side: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax filings, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Financial Analysis and Strategy:
• Analyze like a boss: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to spot trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Strategic partner: Support the CFO and Executive Committee and local management teams with financial insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessments.
• Systems and Processes Improvement:
• Efficiency expert: Continuously enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting tools for top-notch efficiency and accuracy.
• Best practices guru: Implement industry best practices and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  

Your qualifications?

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• +10 years experience in accounting or finance, of which +5 years in a leadership role
• Bring experience in service companies to the table
• Profound knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, BE GAAP is a bonus (used in our current consolidation)
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills. Oracle NetSuite knowledge is a plus
• High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and top-notch problem-solving skills
• Flexible and open to travel across our European offices a few times per year
