Your story
As the pace of change and digital disruption on finance organisations, processes and technologies are increasing exponentially over time in the Financial Services industry, we support our clients to define their digital finance strategy in line with the organisation’s long-term goals.

On top of that, as new technologies proliferate, organisations are coming under pressure to rethink not just their finance strategy but also their entire digital transformation strategy. Therefore, at Deloitte, we advise our clients on how to leverage emerging technologies in order to rethink their finance strategy.

What will your typical day look like?

You will apply your experiences in finance and industry foresight to lead conversations on critical client issues with CFOs and business leaders.

You will support our client in a wide range of various projects in the Financial Services industry from strategy definition to implementation by:
  • Helping CFOs to align their vision with the company’s strategic objectives, and translating that vision into concrete initiatives
  • Improving enterprise performance management, e.g. by optimizing financial and management reporting
  • Transforming finance organisations by (re)defining and implementing finance target operating models
  • Optimizing finance processes, e.g. in the areas of Accounting Operations, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Costing or Closing & Consolidation
  • Focusing on all finance enablers, namely the people, organisation, processes and systems
  • Improving finance systems to ensure adequate fit with finance processes and strategy
  • Supporting project and change management during the implementation phases
  • Assist in planning and managing a project (including a team)
  • Contributing to business development

Our story
  • 2-5 years relevant professional experience in a consulting firm or a blend of consulting and Financial Services industry experience
  • You are a team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • You will be client-focused and have an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to make an impact, both externally (at the client) and internally (within Deloitte)
  • You have past experience in finance consulting, finance performance management or finance processes
  • You understand the role of finance within large organisations
  • You will have the potential to develop strong leadership and people management skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as English (written, spoken) – all three is a strong plus
