Details of the project

Start date: ASAP

Location: Brussels

Project duration: 6 months + extension

The project

For a client of Computer Futures I am currently looking for a Data Engineer.

You will join the data team where you will be responsible for the design and setup of ETL data pipelines. These will be used to retrieve data from various applications and store it centrally in their data lake.

The tasks will vary from setting up the technical data architecture to providing support for existing applications. As a Data engineer you are responsible for co-developing the data lake and you have experience in the integration of different data sources.

Your profile

experience in setting up ETL pipelines

project experience with Scala, Spark and SQL

knowledge of Cloudera

Understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem
