Job Title: SAP Master Data- (Freelance , French Speaker)Location: Verviers, BelgiumContract: 7 Months Contact (Hybrid)Hours: 40H P/WHourly Rate: €95i-pharm consulting, in collaboration with a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a talented and experienced SAP Master Data Manager to lead the data management team at our Verviers site. As the SAP Master Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with best practices in master data management. • Lead the ERP Process/Data Management Team in the creation and maintenance of part codes in SAP (MM, WM, QM, FICO, etc.).
• Oversee the creation and modification of BOMs, Recipes, Resources, and other identified data elements.
• Ensure that SOPs related to new part set-up, BOMs, and recipes are up to date and compliant with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Verviers site, serving as the main point of contact to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Work across the Bioscience network to align and support best practices for master data management.
• Act as the Verviers coordinator for global ERP master data issues, projects, and changes within the Lonza organization.
• Manage Master Data projects in coordination with stakeholders, ensuring the timely achievement of milestones based on GSC’s project guidelines.
• Monitor and enforce data management policies by reviewing standard KPIs and metrics.
• Maintain data quality and accuracy through comprehensive analysis, validation, and auditing procedures.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to measure operational performance (PvA) and adjust process data (recipes, BOMs) accordingly within the SAP system during periodic reviews.
• Mentor the team on global strategies and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Data Management, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management (preferred).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S4 HANA.
• Extensive experience in SC Operations.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of SAP Master Data experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years leading a team.
• Proven ability to design business processes managing data throughout the lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of data management best practices to ensure accuracy, security, and timeliness.
• Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of defining metrics (KPIs) and identifying issues through root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with S4 HANA and IBP is a plus.
• Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
