The GCO Regional Production Manager RPM is a member of the Global Commercial Operations (GCO)’s Global Production Team and reports to the GCO Regional Production Lead -Europe. Working directly with regional/ local brand teams, the RPM will be responsible for timely and high quality delivery of GCO production services and projects within the WESE Markets. Serving as the point of contact for local brand and marketing teams and creative agencies, this individual must have the ability to partner effectively and challenge key stakeholders in order to drive adoption and performance of the GCO production capabilities.

The GCO Regional Production Manager – WESE indirectly manages a team of Account Managers from our production partner that are accountable for the project delivery related to GCO production as well as a Creative studio supporting the region. The GCO drives efforts to prioritize work and establish delivery schedules that meet client needs and team capacity. A collaborative and inclusive way of working will be essential in order to develop and motivate their respective direct and indirect team members located among multiple partners and production centers globally. The role holder possesses strong business acumen, and understanding of global business services and corresponding business requirements. The GCO RPM must be capable to assess complex process and system interdependencies and devise appropriate change management approaches in order to realize and sustain benefits of new production capabilities.

Typical accountabilities will include

  • The GCO Regional Production Manager – WESE is accountable for partnering directly with local marketing company brand leadership to drive for full adoption of the GCO services and capabilities and the delivery of agreed Content types, volumes and savings.
  • The GCO Regional Production Manager – WESE will ensure that quality and timelines for project delivery are agreed and maintained with their markets and maintain an open dialogue on the feedback of the services.
  • Accountable for identifying and understanding regional and local market content trends to enable GCO to provide feedback to TA brands teams via the Content Centre team that ensure global content meets the needs of the marketing companies.
  • Works with their respective markets to ensure all necessary communications and change management activities are delivered to the region and/or local marketing company for new content solutions.
  • Requires strong leadership, communication, project management and critical thinking skills along with high cultural awareness to effectively lead and deliver successful global production supported by a globally based multi-cultural team.
  • Identifies potential new production capabilities to support operational/value expansion and proactively shares them with GCO colleagues and leadership.
  • Leverage reporting and utilization metrics to communicate overall adoption of GCO production. Where there are gaps, work with GCO Leadership and colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding and application of all relevant policies, procedures and operational frameworks. Ensures GCO direct and indirect reports comply with all appropriate AZ Code of Conduct policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge & Experience in the following areas

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Industry
  • Phenomenal communication, interpersonal and presenting skills in English
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with Sr. Leadership and other key Stakeholders
  • Leadership, coordination of resources and influence without authority
  • Experience of working cross functionally and in a global context
  • Program management experience including risk mitigation & planning associated with operational or technical delivery.
  • Managing and driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Financial performance accountability

Preferred experience

  • Sales experience
  • Digital Marketing Experience and Omnichannel campaigns
