Organisation

Plastinova is a wholesaler and distributor of a wide range of gardening and home decoration products. The showroom (1.000m²) and warehouse (25.000m²) are situated in Diksmuide.

As of March 2021, Plastinova is a subsidiary of EDA and will become EDA Benelux.

We are looking for a General Manager (m/f/x) to lead the site as an independent profit center.

Vacancy

  • Daily management of the site;
  • Management, coaching, motivating and training the staff: approximately 30 employees (logistics, sales, purchase,…);
  • Supervising and managing the purchase;
  • Overseeing the administrative processes;
  • Negotiations with suppliers in Asia;
  • Will report to the Managing Director of EDA France.

Prrofile

  • Several years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain;
  • Experience in people management;
  • Native Dutch, good knowledge of French and English;
  • A commercial spirit;
  • Experience in purchasing;
  • Knowledge about import/export;
  • Experience in negotiation with suppliers (ideally in Asia);
  • Experience in B2C wholesale;
  • Knowledge about the Belgian legislation;
  • A critical thinker and well-organised;
  • Can work autonomously;
  • Willing to travel 1 to 2 weeks a year to Asia.
