Your Team And Your Responsibilities

Team description

Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre Is Responsible For
  • Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models.
  • Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and a strong network with EU partners.
Body Engineering Division (Shell/Exterior Team) is responsible for the development of Upper Body Shell, Exterior Parts, Function parts and Lamps for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and develop upper body shell, exterior, function and lamp parts to achieve performance, quality, and cost targets
  • Collaborate with Style division to secure styling feasibility
  • Creation of 3D CAD models and production drawings
  • Co-operate with suppliers and Toyota Production Engineering division to secure the production feasibility of parts
  • Secure regulation compliance and collaborate with Homologation department
  • Support plant production and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised during production trials
  • Create, investigate, and implement Value Analysis and Value Engineering ideas
  • Quality improvement activities for mass production vehicles

Your Profile

For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
  • You have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • You have maximum 18 months of work experience (not counting internships or school projects)
  • You have good knowledge of Catia or other design software
  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have good communication and team work skills
  • You are highly motovated and passionate about engineering

  • Belgium - Brussels (Zaventem): Toyota Motor Europe, Technical Centre
