Job Description:
HR Manager is the first point of contact to the employees and managers and acts as a Center of Expertise with the goal accept and handle 80% of the operational HR requests independently. The other 20% are considered as special cases and the involvement or the hand over to the HR Business Partner is requested. The services will be allocated according to the organizational structure of the company.
Accountabilities
Ensurance of qualitative high standing HR advisory services as well as timely and efficient handling of all standard administrative HR tasks during a life cycle of an employee, i.e:
- Independent handling of entry/exit administration, incl. apply for work permits and updating HR systems
- Independent administrative handling of internal job changes, unpaid leaves, education agreements (incl. repayment obligation in case of exit), promotions, contract changes, maternity leaves, confirmations
- Oversee and handling of benefits (group insurance, hospitalization insurance, meal vouchers, etc)
- Responsibility for completeness of personal files
- Advice to employees and managers regarding HR admin questions (Belgium social legalization)
- Act as an interface to outsourced payroll provider
- Oversee monthly payroll cycle: prepare all relevant changes and forward to outsourcing provider, check output of outsourcing provider
- Provides overviews in terms of time management (vacation balances, sick days etc)
- Support in the organization of the onboarding for new hires
- Support expact statutes in their onboarding
- Ensurance of accurate data in Workday
- Assist and train employees in HR processes (P4G, vacation money etc)
- Ensure HR operational tasks and processes are being handled in a timely and high quality and solution-oriented manner by HR services
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Profound knowhow in Belgian Social Legilization
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Human Resources Management
- At least 3-5 years experience in HR Administration
- Experience in payroll and social security is a big advantage
