Summary:

The work schedule for this position is Full Time (38 hours per week)

Duties




The jobholder manages and administers recruitment for the Tri-Mission’s American Family Member Employment Program. In addition, the jobholder is responsible for administering local staff recruitment for all Facilities Management, Warehouse, and Chauffeur positions, and coordinates and manages the Local Internship Program. Works directly with a variety of individuals and offices (Human Resource Officers, Community Liaison Office, hiring managers, Post Employment Committee members, Universities, etc.) to ensure positions are filled in accordance with established recruitment regulations, policies, guidelines.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: At least three years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Human Resources office with a broad exposure to recruitment and hiring, or training, or local labor law.


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems. Knowledge of the local employment laws and customs as it pertains to social security and employment regulations for LE Staff. Advance knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service in a fast paced work environment. This includes meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Advance knowledge of computer hardware and software, including spreadsheets software.

Education Requirements:

Two years of full-time college or university studies.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Fluency in English. Good working knowledge of French and Dutch. This may be tested.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Should have a personality which inspires confidence in customers and permits maintenance of effective working relationships with supervisors and agency heads. Good working knowledge of MS Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point programs. Must understand the ability to utilize tact and diplomacy in person-to-person contact with host government officials and other external contacts/vendors throughout the area of responsibility. Must have good interviewing skills. Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form as appropriate. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team.
