What you’ll learn and do

As a part of our CMAAS (Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services) team you’ll provide high-value and solutions-oriented advisory services focused on IFRS accounting and reporting in exceptional moments of change.

• You will provide IFRS/financial reporting/capital markets advice to our clients in exceptional moments of change: transactions such acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising (IPOs, debt offerings), stress situations, complex accounting and accounting change projects (e.g. Belgian GAAP to IFRS or US GAAP conversions).
  
• You will guide our clients through the different steps of the project, including project management assistance, internal communication, accounting technical advice, in-house training and hands-on practical assistance to the preparation of the IFRS (or US GAAP equivalent) reporting. You can also help them apply IFRS or in the context of their regular reporting.
  
• You will participate in business development initiatives.
  
• You will be part of a recognised expert team and share our cumulative knowledge and experience with a range of prestigious international and Belgian clients.
  
• You’ll also work in teams with PwC colleagues of other departments (transactions, valuation, finance and performance management, etc.) to offer our clients integrated solutions that are relevant to their needs.
  
• In this role you will have the possibility to travel and work on international engagements and collaborate with colleagues abroad too.
  

Who you are

• A master’s degree in (Applied) Economics, Finance, Law or comparable field.
  
• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting (or auditing) experience, including in IFRS or capital markets.
  
• Solid technical accounting skills and an appetite for financial reporting matters.
  
• Strong people and communication skills; an analytical and critical mindset.
  
• A team player attitude, you like to take initiatives and you’re eager to learn.
  
• Strong language proficiency, both written and spoken, in at least two of the following three languages: Dutch, French and English.
