Your responsibilities as IP Attorney?

• You will advise innovative companies and be directly involved in all aspects of identifying, protecting, valorizing and enforcing their intellectual property rights in all kinds of sectors (fashion, food, biotech, engineering, arts etc.)
• You will be able to work independently and you will have final responsibility for the cases you deal with
• You look after the client’s interests in dealing with different offices and agents
• You will handle procedural cases, and litigation cases, depending on your skills and preferences
• You will work closely with colleagues from other departments to provide clients with our Gevers full circle service.

What makes you fit the profile of IP Attorney at Gevers?

• You have a degree in Law, with an advanced Master in IP
• You have relevant working experience (about 3 to 5 years) in IP
• Excellent communication skills, with Dutch as mother tongue and excellent command of English, written and oral
• Responsible, with an eye for detail
• Eager to learn and flexible
• Stress resistant and able to cope with tight deadlines
• Motivated with a positive attitude
• Able to work independently and a team-player
• Client-oriented and able to take part in the business development strategy of your team
