About The Job
What you’ll spend your time doing:
While there is rarely a ‘typical’ day as a IT Development Analyst, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:
Liaise with business representatives, subject-matter experts, business application owners, developers and architects to assess needs and solutions for technical and business suitability.
Production of documented requirements, functional specifications and user stories for inclusion in Product Increments.
Consultancy to projects (start-ups and in-flight) including the production of estimates and high-level solutions alongside key assumptions.
Liaison with vendors to specify change requirements, ensuring these also have user signoff. Utilise business and application knowledge to subsequently validate the solution proposed, then delivered by the vendor and manage all delivery aspects.
Ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed about Product Increments and ensure all dependencies stay aligned

What you’ll need:
For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:
Knowledge of claims, underwriting and outward reinsurance processes and data modelling.
Organizational Skills (communication , planning suppliers) and Problem solving skills
Customer orientation and expectation Management, being able to communicate effectively across cultural differences (BE/NL/FR/UK)
Research skills: being able to self-learn and investigate solutions to technical problems
Practitioner Understanding of modern IT paradigms such as ITIL/ITSM, DevOps, Agile, etc.
