For one of our clients, located in Zaventem and active in the service sector, we are looking for a motivated IT Support Officer to strengthen the ICT service desk team. Your tasks as IT Support Officer:

  • Deliver first- and second-line support to end users, resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, networks and printers.
  • Providing support in person, by phone, or remotely.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of user problems and escalating when necessary.
  • Setting up and configuring PCs, user accounts, and access permissions.
  • Maintaining IT asset inventory and managing software licenses.
  • Creating support materials and user guides.
  • Collaborating with external vendors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Organizing IT training sessions for staff.
  • Generating reports on support requests and system performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
  • This role also involves improving service quality and supporting the overall IT infrastructure.

Your profile as IT Support Officer:

  • Previous experience in customer support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking and telecommunications.
  • Solid knowledge of PC hardware.
  • Ability to support mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • Capable of explaining technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French and Dutch is advantageous.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with colleagues across departments.
  • Service-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Motivated, creative, adaptable, and able to handle stress effectively.
