We provide product solutions and options to customers in more than 120 countries.A privately held, family-owned and operated company, Kemin has more than 2,900 global employees and operates in 90 countries including manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and the United States.ResponsibilitiesAs accountant at KEMIN you will become part of our Finance team EMENA. You will have a variety of responsibilities such as:
  • Enter timely and accurate journal entries,
  • Assist in month-end close procedures,
  • Provide timely and accurate reconciliations of assigned accounts,
  • Timely and accurate posting of payable/receivable transactions,
  • Follow and document processes and procedures,
  • Work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions.
  • Be responsible for the daily management of incoming invoices in line with the company’s purchase to pay processes,
  • Be accountable for the verification of outstanding purchase orders and taking the required actions,
  • Manage incoming credit notes,
  • Respond to routine requests for information and refer more complex requests to appropriate staff members,
  • Assembles relevant data and compiles information as directed.
QualificationsWhat we expect of you:
  • Bachelor’s degree Accounting/Tax or equivalent by experience,
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality,
  • Good communication skills in Dutch, English and French
  • PC literature (Word, Excel, e-mail, ERP-systems),
  • Well organized and accurate,
  • Flexible in adjusting to organizational needs.
