Introduction

Volvo Action Service (VAS) at Volvo Trucks takes care of Volvo customers across Europe, in getting them back on the road, whenever they experience a breakdown of their vehicle. We follow up on the status of the breakdowns and negotiate solutions to logistic and technical problems. We strive for customer success, and take problem solving to the next level. Our offices are located in Gent (Belgium), Rugby (United Kingdom) and South Africa. The division in Gent is, by far, the largest, approximately 140 people work here, of which the majority in shifts. Our colleagues come from all over the world, and we offer a 24/7 customer support, for more than 16 different languages.

Technical Dealer Support (TDS) is the first line support department for our markets and dealers globally. With a strong focus on technical enquiries, remote diagnostics and connected services, we ensure that our customers are offered a premium service and are helped in time. Using the latest technologies, we guarantee the improvement of internal processes and stay up to date with our service deliveries. We nurture intrapreneurship and personal development, offering plenty opportunities to grow within the organization.

The HR administrator is supporting the Senior HR Business Partner VTC (TDS, VAS, Sales management teams). This is a temporary assignment for minimum 6 months.

The position is based in Ghent, Belgium.

• You will support in administrative follow-up & preparation, supporting in general administrative duties, ensuring accurate personnel administration (reporting, mail form process, joiners, leavers)
• Support the Senior HR Business partner in various people processes
• You will work in close cooperation with the Senior HR Business partner and with different HR support teams (R&S, HRSC and HR Support)
• Provide active support in specific projects
• You connect well with the people in the business and are very service oriented
  

Are you the one?

• Bachelor’s degree in personnel work (personeelswerk) or equivalent through first work experience
• Dynamic personality, proactive and self-driven
• You are a discrete and diplomatic person
• You are not afraid to taking initiative
• You are challenged to think creatively and enjoy coming up with new ideas
• You are a team player and have good communication skills
• Knowledge of English and Dutch both written and spoken
• You enjoy working with people topics and are detail orientated
• This is a part-time position
