Junior service engineer

For The business Unit European Maintenance Services (EMS), part of Thermal Europe, we are currently looking for A Junior Service Engineer! EMS is specialized in the maintenance of turbines, alternators, high voltage installations and power station boilers. Our specialized technicians and engineers work on our customers’ installations both inside and outside Europe

You organize and control the maintenance works on industrial generators and auxiliary systems.You will mainly focus on industrial generators, however, you may do mechanical work on steam- and gasturbines, according to planning and available resources.

• to do mechanical and electrical work.
• to coordinate a team of mechanicswith internal and/or external resources, during the execution of the projects.
• to manage the project throughout all phases (definition, preparation, execution & consolidation).
• Supporting the project leader with project management at different phases (definition, preparation, implementation and consolidation).
• During your missions, you are responsible for respecting the quality, planning, budget, safety and environment.

• You have a Bachelor’s in Mechanics/Electromechanics, ánd you are familiar with the electrical basis of high-voltage circuits. Having specific certificates is an extra: VOL-VCA, BA4-5 training, ATEX, nuclear access of FANC.
• You have a professional knowledge of Dutch or French. English is a must.
• You have a driving license B.
• You are flexible in terms of working hours and place. You are willing to work shifts and weekends, and you are willing to spend up to 30% of your working time abroad on mainly short assignments (mainly in Europe, but sometimes outside Europe: Middle East...)
• You have strong analytical and communication skills, but above all you are a true team player.
• You have a strong safety and environmental awareness. You constantly take care of the safety and well-being of yourself and your colleagues
