The Role

Are you a driven sales professional with a proven track record in building strong client relationships and achieving sales targets? Do you aspire to join an inclusive and innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees?

Imperial Brands has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our Market Belux team. In this role, you will develop and implement account strategies to drive sales volumes across our various retail accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a hybrid position requiring travel to client sites in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Participate in developing the company’s strategy to improve Domestic and Travel Retail performance, measured by volume, share, and profit targets.
  • Implement creative and effective promotions for focus brands within each account, leveraging distribution and presence.
  • Lead negotiations to define commercial strategy, investments, and returns for key accounts.
  • Implement actions to achieve objectives and monitor performance with regular business reviews.
  • Manage budgets and assets efficiently to ensure trade marketing resources are secure and effectively utilized.
  • Produce monthly reports explaining variances on volume, profit, and promotional spend against the original business plan.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of commercial mathematics, including margin calculation and ROI.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort in commercial relationships.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Tenacity in discussions, with a never-accept-no attitude.
  • A team player with a winning mindset and the drive to push limits and achieve more.
  • Excellent teamwork and stakeholder communication skills.
