Logistics Employee

As a logistics employee you assist and control the Inbound and Outbound of orders and the appropriate storage of these.

Leuven, Belgium 20.08.2021

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assists in maintaining the organisation in the warehouse in order to permanently have a neatly organised whole.
2. Receives and controls deliveries and processes the involved administrative data in order to always have accurate information on stock management.
3. Assists in an appropriate shipping of goods in order to ensure an efficient service.

TASKS:
All (administrative) tasks of warehouse processes:
Organisation of the warehouse
Places the parts in the warehouse in an orderly and clear manner
Places the items in the right place
Stores the items in stock in a suitable manner as agreed in the working procedures
Observes the safety instructions
Cleans up the stock and keeps everything orderly and neat
Takes care of a clear and logic storage of items
Inbound process
Reception of goods
Checks the received items based on the order, the delivery note and the bill of lading
Register incoming goods in ERP system
Outbound process
Pick and pack and scans parts
Monitors the service shipments
Undertakes action in case of flaws
Loading and unloading of goods with forklift

Candidate profile:
  • Strong in correct & accurate work
  • Customer focus
  • Mature to work autonomous
  • Good collaboration skills – team player
  • Flexible

Education:
  • Degree in a technical area or equal through experience

Other skills/abilities:
  • Holds a forklift license or is willing and capable of taking the exams
  • Knowledge of working with ERP software is an asset
  • Fluent English
